We are seeking a skilled Plant Care Specialist to oversee the production and care of plants, flowers, and shrubs for sale in Co. Mayo.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the timely planting and harvesting of crops through effective crop scheduling.
- Manage plant propagation, irrigation, and pest control to maintain healthy plant stock.
- Regulate plant growth by mixing and testing fertilizers, and monitoring injectors in greenhouses.
- Direct labor in crop management and supervise seasonal staff and production labor.
- Oversee greenhouse environment management and maintenance of plant material in assigned greenhouses.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in similar work and/or relevant qualification is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of plants, flowers, and shrubs.
- Manual handling skills desirable.
- Full clean driving license.
- Ability to use a variety of horticulture tools and equipment.
