Job Title: Senior Director of Operational Excellence

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our operational efforts and drive excellence across the organization.


About the Role
  • This is a senior leadership position that oversees the development and implementation of operational strategies to enhance business outcomes.
  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in leading high-performing teams and driving process improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement operational frameworks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain efficient operations to deliver exceptional client experiences and safeguard business interests.
  • Oversee data management, transaction reporting, and corporate actions to optimize business outcomes.
  • Reconcile settlements and manage breaks in high-volume environments.
  • Support stakeholder management both internally and externally.
  • Lead the operational team, including performance reporting and service level agreements.
  • Support new product initiatives and maintain framework, policy, and process documentation.

Requirements
  • At least 5 years' experience in back-office, reconciliation, and corporate action functions working in a high-volume environment for a financial institution.
  • A thorough understanding of the equity and CFD trade lifecycle, including settlements, custody, corporate action processing, and taxes.
  • Expertise in SQL and/or Python to enhance straight-through processing and manage exceptions.
  • Experience in implementing risk controls and procedure documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Self-motivated, proactive attitude, and team player.
  • Strong time management and error identification skills.
