Leadership Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and committed leader to join our Board of Directors as Chairperson. The ideal candidate will provide clear leadership, ensure effective governance, and contribute to the strategic direction of our organisation.

About The Role
  • Lead the Board in fulfilling its governance and oversight duties.
  • Guide and support the development of our strategic direction.
  • Ensure the Board operates efficiently and collaboratively, encouraging open dialogue and informed decision-making.
  • Provide support to our team and act as a sounding board on strategic and operational matters.
  • Represent us where appropriate and act as an ambassador for our mission.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Oversee the implementation of our organisational strategy.
  2. Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
  3. Drive business growth through innovative ideas and solutions.
  4. Develop and maintain effective governance structures and processes.
  5. Monitor and report on organisational performance and progress.
What We're Looking For
  • Proven leadership experience, ideally at Board or senior management level.
  • A strong understanding of strategic planning and organisational development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build consensus and motivate others.
  • A commitment to our values and mission.
  • Experience in the community, education, social care, advocacy, or related sectors is welcome but not essential.
Board Meetings

The Board meets regularly to discuss key issues and make informed decisions.
