Job Title: Senior Executive

This is a senior-level leadership position responsible for overseeing key aspects of the organization's operations.

About The Role

The successful candidate will be an experienced professional with a strong track record in financial management and human resources. They will have a deep understanding of organizational strategy and will be able to drive effective planning and decision-making.

iScoil provides online education services to young people aged 13-16 years who are not in mainstream education. Our students are referred to us by Tusla's Educational Welfare Service.

  • Support progression to further education and employment

The ideal candidate will be able to support our CEO and senior leadership team in achieving these goals.

Main Responsibilities

The General Manager will be responsible for:

  1. Collaborating with the CEO and senior leadership team to shape and deliver organisational strategy, strengthen leadership, and drive effective financial and operational planning
  2. Providing strategic advice and reports on financial sustainability
  3. Leading financial operations, including maintaining accounts, budgets, and reconciliations in line with internal financial controls, industry standards, and legal requirements
  4. Ensuring that appropriate financial management procedures, systems, and controls are implemented, including managing pension and payroll
  5. Overseeing the annual financial audit
  6. Supporting funding applications and managing funding contracts, including reporting, milestones, and budgets
  7. Adhering to service level agreements and regulatory requirements
  8. Leading human resource management, culture, and people strategy, including recruitment, onboarding, training, CPD, and record-keeping
  9. Developing, implementing, and updating policies and procedures
  10. Overseeing general office management, including management of the Administrator
  11. Chairing team meetings with a focus on collaboration and operational support
  12. Leading projects
  13. Developing iScoil's public profile, including representation at events and meetings
Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • Financial and human resources training with at least three years' senior leadership experience within a similar sector
  • A knowledge of accounting and financial management systems
  • Experience using a customer relationship management (CRM) system and Google Workspace (or similar)
  • Experience in ensuring data protection compliance and adherence to regulatory and industry standards
