
Strategic Business Leadership Position

- Supporting the Chief Executive through a combination of strategic leadership skills, delivery focus and effective relationship management;
- Leading the business services function of the Regulator – this entails delivery of Finance, Corporate Affairs, Information Management and Technology, and Human Resource services;
- Contributing to strategic focus and outcomes by the Regulator, including working closely with members of the senior leadership team to deliver on strategy;
- Ensuring the provision of excellent services to the Board through its secretariat and through other supports consistent with good practice in corporate governance.
The Charities Regulator retains the right to amend the role profile and allocate resources within the Regulator in the most appropriate manner and in accordance with business needs.
Key Requirements- A relevant qualification at level 8 or higher on the National Framework of Qualifications;
- At least 7 years' experience in a senior leadership role, ideally in a complex environment, managing multiple projects with a range of stakeholders, with a proven track record of success linking service delivery to strategic objectives;
- Have a proven ability to exercise sound judgement, analytical thinking, and problem solving/decision making skills;
- Have strong leadership qualities and a proven ability to build and develop high functioning teams;
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with proven ability to influence and work effectively with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders in a constructive manner.
