Quality Assurance Specialist

The ideal candidate will be working on a high-profile commercial project in Galway City.

  • To ensure the quality of construction projects, develop and implement project-specific Quality Plans and Inspection & Test Plans.
  • Oversee and review quality inspections, method statements, and compliance procedures to guarantee adherence to standards.
  • Conduct regular site quality audits and provide feedback to project teams to enhance performance.
  • Support BCAR inspections, documentation, and certification processes to maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain accurate records and monitor non-conformance reports, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Collaborate with Project Teams and subcontractors to resolve quality issues and minimize defects.
  • Attend project meetings to discuss quality performance and potential risks.
Professional Development:
  • Deliver quality-focused inductions and training for employees and subcontractors to promote knowledge sharing.
  • Mentor Project Teams and support employee development to foster growth within the organization.
  • Promote best practices, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing across projects to enhance overall performance.
  • Work with Contracts Managers and the HR Department to document employee development and integrate quality training into onboarding processes.
  • Organize regular toolbox talks, workshops, and refresher sessions to keep employees informed and up-to-date.
Process Optimization:
  • Support lean initiatives to streamline construction quality and efficiency.
  • Lead the implementation and use of Procore for quality management, ensuring all teams are trained in its effective application.
  • Capture lessons learned from past projects to inform future delivery and enhance overall project outcomes.
