Investment Reporting Specialist

Our organization is seeking a skilled Investment Reporting Specialist to maintain and interface with internal and external clients. This role will be responsible for facilitating the receipt, disbursement, and reconciliation of borrower funds, as well as preparing daily and periodic investment reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the receipt, disbursement, and reconciliation of borrower funds during the loan's pre-funding and funding period.
  • Prepare daily and periodic investment reports, including valuations, investor remittance files, and other financial statements.
  • Collaborate closely with Loan Services' operational groups and the Data Integrity Team to communicate, research, and resolve daily data transmission and feed issues.
  • Review bank account reconciliations, investor files, and wire transfers for accuracy.
  • Interpret investment management & servicing agreements, regulations, standard operating procedures, and loan documents to ensure accounting and reporting requirements are being met.
  • Participate in new investor meetings and contribute to creating project plans, working with high-profile global investors and funds.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Real Estate, or Accounting is preferred.
  • Accounting or Finance experience is required.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work based on established deadlines.
  • Basic understanding of database and data structures is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
