Technical Leadership Position

Job Description:

We seek a skilled Technical Leader to oversee the development of innovative software solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards and driving meaningful outcomes for clients.

This pivotal role requires expertise in shaping end-to-end architectures and guiding their successful implementation across complex digital environments.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements.
  • Interpret and apply information within Enterprise architecture to inform business improvement activities.
  • Maintain overall enterprise architecture in a coherent manner, considering security and quality.
  • Provide technical guidance on design processes.
  • Manage risks associated with contract delivery.
  • Identify improvements to system architecture and processes.
  • Ensure quality and governance standards are met.
  • Deliver project reports and architecture documents as required.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Essential Skills:

Technical Skills:

  • Expertise in interpreting, using, and applying Enterprise architecture.
  • Leadership and direction of software development teams.
  • Maintaining enterprise architecture in a coherent manner.
  • Management and delivery of multiple system modules or projects.
  • Design and development of new systems on Red Hat OpenShift.
  • Modernization of existing applications onto the Red Hat OpenShift platform.

Consultancy Skills:

  • Strong client-facing skills with ability to build trust and communicate effectively.
  • Ability to lead and mentor, fostering a culture of learning and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborative team player.
  • Self-driven and disciplined.
Experience:
  • 7+ years of experience in technical leadership.
  • Experience with development of enterprise systems using open-source software.
  • Public sector experience preferred.
