Job Description

Product Designer

We are seeking an experienced Product Designer to craft seamless, user-centred experiences across web and mobile. The ideal candidate will drive design decisions through research, collaboration, and prototyping while ensuring accessibility and consistency.

The successful candidate will work closely with product and engineering teams to shape intuitive, high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment with a true collaborative design culture.

  1. Contribute to the design evolution of products through research, data, and workshops.
  2. Produce high-quality wireframes, mock-ups, and interactive prototypes that communicate product behaviour across web and mobile platforms.
  3. Define and understand design problems to be solved, think big, and explore divergent ideas while understanding how to converge and iteratively drive towards your vision.
  4. Plan strategically and collaborate with product and engineering teams to shape product direction.
  5. Craft unified end-to-end product solutions by working closely with fellow team members.
  6. Manage, prioritize, and track workload within tight deadlines.
  7. Understand how and when to apply design-thinking best practices and user-centred design methodologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 3-5 years of experience in UI, UX, or HCI-related fields, preferably in an e-commerce or SaaS organisation.
  • A portfolio showcasing your design work, highlighting examples of finished work, your specific role in the project, and an explanation of your process and collaboration with other designers and stakeholders.
  • Expertise with Figma and other current design tools.
  • Experience designing with the big picture in mind, working through problems from beginning to end, defining broad system-level concepts, and fine-tuning specific interactions and visuals.
  • Nice to have: understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and best practices, with experience integrating accessibility practices into workflows.
  • Nice to have: experience using AI tools for design.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written.
