Site Manager: Residential Development

Lead impactful residential development projects from planning to delivery, managing large-scale construction sites and coordinating with teams on the ground.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing residential construction projects during the construction stage and supporting project managers during planning and design phases.
  • Coordinating with technical consultants and design teams from a program perspective.
  • Organising and overseeing project activities, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and stakeholder expectations.
  • Developing and implementing project schedules and monitoring milestones.
  • Ensuring full compliance with contractor agreements.
  • Supervising compliance with planning conditions and regulatory requirements.
  • Managing main contractors and ensuring delivery of works on-site.
  • Overseeing applications such as Planning Permission, Fire Safety Certificates, and Disability Access Certificates.
  • Identifying opportunities for cost savings through smart planning, design, and procurement.
  • Aligning project work streams with business strategies.
  • Driving project delivery from investment planning to on-site execution.
  • Managing budgets and project reporting across various stages.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a Site Manager or similar role.
  • Recognised third-level qualification in construction, engineering, or a related field.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven experience managing large residential developments.
  • Strong understanding of local regulations and industry standards.
  • Knowledge of public procurement is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with development viability and cost control is a plus.
