Residential Finishing Foreman

We are seeking a highly skilled Residential Finishing Foreman to oversee the completion of our residential development project in Skerries.

  • Supervise and coordinate all finishing trades and subcontractors on-site, ensuring seamless execution of tasks and maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Monitor progress, productivity, and quality control, identifying and resolving any issues that may arise during the project.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily site inspections and quality checks, verifying compliance with project specifications and health & safety regulations.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, including Site Managers and Project Managers, to report progress and resolve site issues efficiently.
  • Manage materials, tools, and resources for finishing works, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
  • Coordinate the final handover process, addressing any snag lists or concerns from clients.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Finishing Foreman on residential projects, with excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and schedules, with a strong eye for detail and commitment to quality.
  • Valid Safe Pass and relevant tickets (e.g. CSCS, manual handling).

  • Strong project management skills, with experience in managing multiple trade activities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
