Job Description

The role of a Financial Accountant is to oversee the financial management of an organization. This includes maintaining and reconciling general ledgers, posting journal entries for routine and non-routine transactions, accounting for and reporting on income, producing finance reports to management, and departmental income and expense analysis reports.

The ideal candidate will have newly or part-qualified accountant status with a professional accountancy body and a minimum of two years' experience working in a finance function.

Key responsibilities include planning, organizing, and prioritizing workload, managing general ledger, knowledge of current accounting standards, advanced IT skills, and strong attention to detail.


Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Newly or Part Qualified Accountant with professional accountancy body
  • Minimum 2 years' experience working in a finance function
  • Ability to plan, organise, and prioritise workload and to meet deadlines on time
  • General ledger management and reporting experience
  • Knowledge of current accounting standards and accounting systems
  • Advanced IT skills and working knowledge of MS Office
