Logistics Manager Job Description

Supporting teams, stakeholders, and staff in kit and apparel distribution and management is a key objective of this role.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing IRFU stock, warehouse facilities, and staff members to ensure seamless logistics operations.

  • Liaising with partners and suppliers in the ordering, storage, and distribution of kit, apparel, and equipment
  • Managing stock control systems and reporting to relevant departments
  • Storing and distributing IRFU equipment and supplies across Ireland and internationally

This full-time, permanent role based at our Warehouse Facilities in Newhall, Naas, County Kildare offers an exciting opportunity to develop skills in logistics management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Kit and Apparel Distribution: Liaising with partners and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of kits and apparel to teams and stakeholders.
  • Stock Management: Managing IRFU stock, warehouse facilities, and staff members to optimize stock levels and reduce waste.
  • Equipment and Supplies Distribution: Storing and distributing IRFU equipment and supplies across Ireland and internationally.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with partners and suppliers.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve logistics goals.
