As a Key Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth functioning of your site, driving productivity and quality service.

About the Role
  • Create, implement and maintain a culture of safety and wellbeing among team members
  • Lead analytical efforts to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to increase productivity and quality
  • Oversee projects aimed at streamlining processes and optimizing operational efficiency
  • Work collaboratively with management-level colleagues to standardize shift practices and improve operational excellence

A typical day in this role involves working on a varied shift pattern at one of our sites, focusing on owning and driving a culture of safety and quality standards. You will also oversee process improvements within your area and drive implementation, while being a role model and mentor to new managers.

Requirements

We are looking for an individual with:

  • A degree
  • Relevant experience in people management
  • Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including peers and leadership
  • Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English
Preferred Qualifications

While not required, relevant experience working with Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen techniques, or experience working in another logistics environment would be beneficial.
