Montessori Teacher Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Montessori teacher to join our team. As a key member of our educational staff, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining a supportive learning environment that fosters independence and self-directed learning in children.

  • Your primary role will be to guide and nurture children in a Montessori classroom setting, tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs and abilities of each child.
  • You will prepare and maintain a rich and stimulating learning environment, incorporating a variety of activities and materials to promote social, emotional, and academic growth.
  • You will work closely with parents to develop and implement individualized lesson plans that align with Aistear and Montessori principles.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, problem-solving, and respectful communication among children and adults alike.
  • Regularly assess and monitor each child's progress, providing constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement.
About the Role
  • Hold a Level 7 or 8 qualification in Montessori Education (a minimum of a Level 5 in Early Education is required).
  • Have at least one year of experience working with the Irish Curriculum/Framework.
  • Be well-versed in national frameworks such as Aistear and Solta.
  • Experience working with children who require additional support is highly valued.
