About this Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Montessori teacher to join our team. As a Montessori educator, you will be responsible for guiding and nurturing children in a supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain a stimulating and inclusive classroom atmosphere that fosters independence and self-directed learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement tailored lesson plans aligned with Aistear, Soilta, and Montessori principles.
  • Foster social, emotional, and academic growth by encouraging collaboration, problem-solving, and respectful communication among students.
  • Regularly assess and monitor each child's development, providing constructive feedback and maintaining open communication with parents.
Requirements:
  • Hold a Level 7 or 8 qualification in Montessori Education (minimum of a Level 5 in Early Childhood Education is required).
  • At least one year of experience working with the Irish Curriculum/Framework.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the national frameworks of Aistear and Solta.
  • Experience working with children who require additional support.
  • Prior experience as an AIM support would be an asset but is not essential.
