Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Site Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations on active construction sites.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating daily site activities, ensuring productivity and quality standards are met.

Liaising with Project Managers, Engineers, and subcontractors is crucial to ensure smooth project execution.

The Site Supervisor will also be responsible for monitoring progress against project schedules and reporting updates and risks on a weekly basis.

A thorough inspection of the site will be conducted to verify the quality of workmanship and adherence to technical specifications.

Accurate site records, including logs, reports, and safety documentation, must be maintained by the Site Supervisor.

Additionally, they will be responsible for managing site workforce, assigning tasks, overseeing performance, and resolving conflicts where necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in site supervision within the electrical or construction sector is essential.
  • Strong working knowledge of construction safety regulations is required.
  • Excellent skills in workforce management, delegation, and task prioritisation are necessary.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to coordinate diverse teams and stakeholders are crucial.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills in fast-paced environments are highly valued.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and electrical plans is expected.
  • Good record-keeping and reporting skills are essential.
