We are looking for an experienced Product Design Lead to join our AI team. As a Product Design Lead, you will be responsible for designing and delivering world-class AI experiences across the entire Workday product line.

Your primary focus will be on designing intuitive features that build trust in AI for the enterprise. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and designers, to shape the future of Workday's AI experiences.

To succeed in this role, you must have a deep understanding of interaction design, a passion for creating great user experiences, and a talent for mentoring and coaching colleagues. Your portfolio should demonstrate a deep appreciation for simple, sleek, usable interfaces.

  • Design at scale for millions of users around the world">
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to shape AI experiences across Workday's product line">
  • Contribute to system-level design patterns and ensure usability, accessibility, and consistency">
  • Mentor and coach colleagues, fostering a collaborative design culture">
">Requirements">
  • ">
  • 4+ years industry experience (relevant experience considered if other requirements are met)">
  • 1+ years experience building AI products">
  • BA/BS degree in Design (e.g., interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial), HCI, Library Sciences, CS, or related field, or equivalent practical experience">
  • Portfolio demonstrating a deep appreciation for simple, sleek, usable interfaces">
  • Proficiency with Figma or other modern design and prototyping tools">
  • Experience using AI tooling to create prototypes or designing for Generative AI experiences">
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with product managers and developers about product strategy">
  • Online portfolio of work and process; ability to demonstrate design experience">
