Diligent Video Game Quality Assurance Specialist

Are you a diligent and meticulous individual with a passion for video games? We are seeking a dedicated Manual Tester to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing various types of manual testing, including regression and integration testing.

Closely collaborating with the programming team, you will assist in testing specific changes before code is merged into the main developer branches. Your tasks will also include testing new builds to ensure stability, following priorities given by the QA Lead, and managing the bug tracking system.

We are looking for someone with good judgement, autonomy, and strong interpersonal skills. If you have experience working with game engines and are passionate about delivering high-quality experiences, we would love to hear from you.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Perform manual testing (regression, integration etc)
  • Assist the programming team with testing specific changes
  • Test new builds for stability
  • Follow priorities given by QA Lead
  • Manage the bug tracking system
  • First line of support for production team

Requirements:

  • Passion for video games
  • Experience in programming and/or scripting
  • Experience working with game engines
  • Good judgement and autonomy
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Nice to Haves:

  • Prior experience in QA
  • Knowledge of Perforce, Jira, and Jenkins
  • Knowledge of network configurations
