Job Overview

A key aspect of ensuring the quality and safety of nutritional supplements is through microbiological testing. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting tests to detect the presence of microorganisms in various stages of the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Microbiological Testing: Conduct tests to detect the presence of microorganisms such as aerobic bacteria, yeast and molds, and coliforms in raw materials, finished products, and water sources.
  • Water Testing: Conduct regular water testing to ensure that water used in the manufacturing process meets the required standards.
  • Microbial Enumeration: Perform microbial enumeration tests to determine the total number of aerobic bacteria, combined yeast and molds, and bile-tolerant gram-negative bacteria present in nutritional supplements.
  • Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs): Ensure adherence to GMPs by implementing effective sanitation and hygiene practices throughout the manufacturing process.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in microbiological testing and analysis.
  • Skills: Proficiency in laboratory techniques, data analysis, and quality control procedures.
