A leading European food manufacturer is seeking a skilled Food Safety Auditor for a 12-month fixed term contract.

Job Description

This role involves partnering with our team to deliver high-quality audits, ensure compliance with industry standards and implement policy changes across multiple sites. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of food safety legislation, industry best practices and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead internal, customer and third-party audits across multiple sites.
  • Conduct gap analyses on new standards and implement required changes within the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Investigate non-conformities, drive corrective actions and report on compliance performance.
  • Manage testing programmes and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Train and develop site teams to maintain high food safety and quality standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Degree or relevant qualification in Food Technology, Food Safety, Nutrition, Agricultural Science or related discipline.
  • Knowledge of food industry standards, such as BRCGS and Bord Bia.
  • Strong understanding of HACCP principles and food hygiene.
  • Auditing experience across multiple sites.
