This is an exciting opportunity to begin a career in purchasing or procurement.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for administrative tasks related to purchasing activities, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company processes.
Responsibilities:- Administrative Support: Performing general administrative duties such as filing, data entry and document management.
- Compliance: Ensuring that all procurement activities comply with legal requirements.
- Ownership of the New Accounts process; ensuring approvals are in place in accordance with agreed procedures.
- Carry out due diligence on new account requests to include duplication of vendor, current work capacity within other entities; liaising with the finance department as necessary.
- Communicate with site regarding the progress of vendor set-ups.
- Update the New Accounts trackers for all new requests, update database and record all information in accordance with agreed process.
- Issue relevant forms to potential new vendors.
- Collate and review all received forms and send for manager's approval
- Weekly review of supplier insurances for all entities; contacting suppliers to request new insurance certificates where required, including monitoring insurance mailbox.
- Review received certificates and confirm appropriate level and type of insurance are in place; recording documentation as per agreed procedures.
