Microfluidic Product Developer

We are seeking a highly motivated Microfluidic Product Developer to join our product development team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing innovative microfluidic products that meet the needs of life sciences and diagnostics applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop microfluidic products for various life sciences and diagnostics applications using cell biology, immunology, and pharmacology principles.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new biochip ranges in therapeutics areas such as cardiovascular, oncology, immunology, respiratory, and bacteriology.
  • Work on monoclonal antibodies, fusion process B Cells, protein assays, testing, and microfluidic cards on biochips.

Requirements:

  • M.Sc or PhD with 4+ years of experience in cell biology, immunology, pharmacology, or in biotech/Pharma/biomedical field executing bench-scale experiments.
  • Training in biotechnology, biomedical engineering, or biochemical sciences is an advantage.
  • Experience in continuous flow assays is an advantage.
  • Exceptional communication (verbal and written) skills and ability to deal with colleagues at all levels of the organisation and external customers and partners.
  • Willingness to take initiative and be a self-starter.
  • Capable of independent work as well as being able to collaborate with others.
  • Interest in technology development.
  • Critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

About the Role:

This position provides the foundation for technical product development and serves as a member of the product development/R&D team. You will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and contribute to the development of innovative products that make a real impact in the life sciences and diagnostics industries.
