Job Title: Contract Quantity Surveyor

ESB Networks is seeking a skilled and experienced Contract Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for procuring major capital works and services, ensuring compliance with EU Directives and statutory regulations.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct end-to-end EPC, Civil and Electrical Contracting tender processes in accordance with ESB procurement procedures.
  • Work closely with framework owners/managers to define requirements and identify appropriate procurement strategies.
  • Prepare annual procurement plans, Category Plans and Source Plans for EPC, Civil and Electrical categories of spend.
  • Provide support, advice and direction for these categories of spend.
  • Ensure procurement legislation/procedures are followed and maintained.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' relevant work experience.
  • Significant experience in Procurement or Contract/Commercial management of Construction Projects.
  • High level of commitment, commercial acumen and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in drafting tender documents and contracts for major building, civil engineering or utilities projects.
  • Clear focus on delivery of high-quality work.
  • Ability to work and share knowledge within a team structure.
  • Effective time management.
