About the Role:
  • You will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and optimising automated equipment to ensure smooth operation of the production line and contribute to its success.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and repair high-speed automated assembly machines, ensuring they run efficiently and effectively.
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to minimise downtime and maintain productivity.
  • Assist in the installation, setup, and refurbishment of equipment to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records of maintenance activities.
  • Communicate potential issues affecting capacity and quality to the team leader, ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Support Process Engineers with initiatives aimed at improving efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Contribute to projects focused on system improvements and upgrades.
  • Ensure performance targets and deadlines are consistently met, driving success in the production line.
Requirements:
  • A Level 5 qualification in engineering or a related field (e.g. electronics, mechanics).
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Technician in a high-volume automated environment, with a proven track record of troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
