Senior Occupational Therapist Job Opportunity

This role presents an exceptional chance for a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist to lead the development of an occupational therapy service in an acute mental health setting.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive assessments and interventions to adults in an acute mental health environment, adhering to best practices and service standards.
  • Manage caseloads, ensuring effective assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of treatment programs for service users.
  • Supervise staff, allocating tasks and promoting positive team dynamics, while prioritizing workloads and maintaining morale.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement and development of the occupational therapy service within the approved centre.

The ideal candidate will maintain service delivery aligned with HSE standards, policies, and regulations. Participation in multidisciplinary case discussions, care planning, and service meetings is also essential. The successful candidate will operate within the scope of occupational therapy practice in Ireland, adhering to local guidelines and regulations.

Requirements
