Residential Construction Project Lead

The primary objective of this position is to lead and work alongside a team on residential carpentry projects, ensuring timely completion, high-quality results, and safe working conditions.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Lead residential carpentry work, including framing, finishing, and custom installations
- Supervise on-site activities and coordinate with subcontractors
- Read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications
- Train and mentor junior team members
- Maintain high safety and quality standards
- Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, and clients
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company policies
- Resolve site issues quickly and effectively
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in residential carpentry, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Skilled in framing, finishing, cabinetry, and general carpentry techniques
- Able to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Valid driver's licence and ability to travel to various sites
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements
