Architectural Technologist Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Architectural Technologist to join a dynamic and multidisciplinary team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering innovative commercial design solutions, with strong capabilities in space planning, concept development, and the preparation of drawings, visuals, and presentations for both clients and internal teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing drawings from inception to completion, including preparing construction drawings and writing technical specifications for tendering/pricing purposes.
  • Providing detailed knowledge of current building regulations, health & safety regulations, and general property/construction-related legislation.
  • Working directly with clients, contractors, and design teams to deliver best-in-class outcomes.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Relevant degree or diploma in Architectural Technology/Design, Construction Technology, or related discipline.
  • Strong technical knowledge of building construction, materials & specifications, building systems and services.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, 3-D visuals, Photoshop, In-design and other industry-standard design software.
