Safety Expert Leader

The Quality and Risk Manager will play a pivotal leadership role in promoting a culture of continuous improvement and patient safety.
This key position involves implementing best practices in quality and risk management to enhance patient care and service delivery.
Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, the role requires leading quality initiatives, managing risk proactively, and supporting staff engagement in quality and safety efforts.
Ensuring patients remain at the forefront of all quality and risk management activities is central to this role.
Main Responsibilities- Implement best practices in quality and risk management aligned with National Standards for Safer, Better Healthcare.
- Lead quality initiatives and manage risk proactively.
- Support staff engagement in quality and safety initiatives.
- Ensure patients remain at the heart of all quality and risk management efforts.
- Academic award in Healthcare Risk Management or Healthcare Quality Management at level 8 (or higher) on the NFQ or equivalent.
- Professional qualification in a health-related area.
- Demonstrated expertise in a comparable position and open to additional training if necessary.
- Background in Clinical/Healthcare setting in a post that has involved quality and risk management as relevant to this role.
- Minimum of five years proven experience in Quality and/or Risk.
