
Financial Administrator Position

We are recruiting an Accounts Technician to join our team in Belfast.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day running of a busy accounts department, working with various clients. This includes:
- Preparation of year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
- Preparation of management accounts and VAT returns.
- Data analysis, reconciliations, and other general accounting tasks.
- Supporting clients with cloud accounting software (Xero, Sage etc).
- Processing weekly and monthly payrolls for a range of clients.
- Assisting with tax return preparation and other compliance tasks.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Accounting Technician or Part-Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CAI or similar) qualification.
- University degree with a minimum 2:1 classification.
- Previous experience of working in an accountancy practice.
- A forward-thinking mindset and a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general IT systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage time and priorities effectively.
- Good communication skills and a client-focused approach.
A full driving licence is preferred.
