Role Overview

ZwickRoell is a global leader in materials testing offering a comprehensive range of solutions for research, development and quality assurance purposes.

We have been serving customers in the UK and Ireland for over four decades with a customer experience centre offices meeting rooms and a fully equipped demonstration laboratory underscoring our commitment to customer support and advanced technology solutions.

The ideal candidate will report directly to the Sales Manager and be a technology enthusiast with strong motivation to understand the specific needs of diverse customers ensuring the right specifications are met and a suitable solution is presented.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Achieve sales targets assigned by the Sales Manager for dedicated regions.
  • Meet with customers regularly to discuss technical applications and commercial aspects of the sales process.
  • Prepare and present technical presentations of ZwickRoell products to meet customer needs.
  • Manage and interpret customer requirements speak with customers to understand their needs and offer suitable solutions.
  • Generate technical sales proposals and discuss them with customers.
  • Update records of customer communication and sales activity in CRM systems and follow internal protocols and workflows.
  • Finalize orders after technical and commercial negotiation meetings with customers.
  • Maintain good relationships with customers throughout the sales and after-sales process.
  • Inform the marketing department about upcoming events and work closely with them to conduct such activities.
  • Attend and arrange exhibitions conferences seminars and similar events to attract retain customers increase network improve branding and increase market awareness.
  • Submit weekly monthly and visit reports to the Sales Manager as per defined timelines.


Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Degree in mechanical engineering or other related subjects advantageous but not necessary.
  • Effective communication skills both written and verbal able to adapt to situations and tasks.
  • Highly proficient in MS Office capable of producing editing large documents Excel sheets and PowerPoint presentations Knowledge of MS SharePoint Dynamics CRM and MS Teams.
  • Ability to use CRM experience preferably Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Ability to present company and technical presentations.
  • Able to work under pressure and autonomously.
