Our team at the Killarney Avenue Hotel is currently seeking a skilled Night Porter to join our staff. Reporting directly to the Hotel Manager, this full-time position requires an individual with experience in a similar role within a hotel environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment for customers, staff, and visitors at all times. This involves conducting regular security checks of the entire hotel building and managing customer wake-up calls. Additionally, they will be required to deal with the front desk and guest inquiries, as well as assist in the restaurant/bar/lounge when needed.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Ensure a safe and secure environment for customers, staff, and visitors at all times.
    • Conduct regular security checks of the hotel building.
    • Manage customer wake-up calls.
    • Deal with the front desk and guest inquiries.
    • Assist in the restaurant/bar/lounge when required.

About the Role:

  • Experience in a similar position in a hotel environment is highly beneficial.
  • Fluent English language skills are essential.
  • Legal right to work in Ireland is required.
