At our organization, we are seeking a highly skilled Land Acquisition Specialist to join our team in Kildare, Ireland. As a key member of our renewable energy development team, you will play a central role in shaping projects from the ground up, working with landowners and stakeholders to turn ambitious plans into reality.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead negotiations with landowners to secure options, leases, wayleaves, and easements needed to deliver large-scale renewable energy projects
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with landowners, tenant farmers, and land managers
  • Manage complex agreements and independent valuation processes
  • Collaborate with legal, project management, and external partners to progress agreements through to completion
  • Support project development teams with land acquisition strategies and effective stakeholder engagement
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legal, environmental, and health & safety requirements

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A degree in Land Management, Agriculture, Business, or a related discipline
  • 6+ years' professional experience in property, agriculture, forestry, or project management
  • A proven track record in negotiating and concluding land agreements
  • Strong knowledge of Irish property law and sustainable land management practice
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills
  • The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
  • A full driving license and flexibility to travel as required
