Job Opportunity: Tour Guide

The GAA Museum is seeking passionate and engaging individuals to lead flexible part-time tours of Kelloggs Skyline and Croke Park Stadium. If you have a passion for cultural heritage, now is the time to apply.

Tour Guide Role Description

Leading groups on general public tours, school groups, active retirement groups, language schools, corporate groups, and visitors with additional needs. Providing unique and personalized experiences for each group.

Conducting all tours with enthusiasm and providing visitors with a memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities Include
  • Front of house duties including group check-ins, ticket and merchandise sales, re-stocking the gift shop, and handling cash.
  • Answering customer queries and assisting at special events.
  • Undertaking research regarding stadium tour commentary and keeping up to date with developments in the GAA & Croke Park.
Essential Criteria
  • An in-depth knowledge and interest in Gaelic Games.
  • A passion for storytelling.
  • An interest in Dublin city and what it has to offer.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions, in a physically demanding job.
  • Willingness to work at height on the Skyline rooftop walkway.
Desirable Criteria
  • Fluency in Irish and/or French would be an advantage.
  • Previous Tour Guide experience.
  • Experience working in a visitor attraction/museum/retail setting.
  • Experience leading and supervising large groups.
  • Experience working in a busy customer-facing role.
