Job Description

As a Territory Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving new customer growth and building relationships with existing global pharma and biotech customers to further drive expansion and revenue growth.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a territory sales plan associated with the company's sales targets, maintaining a consistent pipeline of prospects through networking, referrals, industry research, etc., and partnering with pre-sales Product Specialists to provide informative product demonstrations tailored to specific prospect needs and workflows within CMC and related areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a territory sales plan that aligns with the company's sales targets.
  • Maintain a consistent pipeline of prospects through strategic networking, referrals, and industry research.
  • Partner with pre-sales Product Specialists to deliver customized product demonstrations that meet the unique needs and workflows of each prospect.
  • Develop compelling responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs), highlighting the value proposition, solution strengths, and differentiation of the company's offerings.
  • Collaborate with Product Specialists to understand prospect requirements and design optimal solution architectures that align with their scientific workflows.
  • Promote the overall business and presence at named accounts, originating new engagements across pharmaceutical development and commercial manufacturing.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of the company's platform features, functionality, and technical architecture.
  • Ability to maintain expertise in scientific workflows within pharmaceutical and biotechnology manufacturing, particularly CMC and related software solutions (e.g., LIMS, ELN, MES, RIM).
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape within the pharma/biotech SaaS space.
  • Articulate the value proposition of the company's platform in the context of customer-specific scientific and business challenges.
