Heavy Building Materials Manager Position

This is an exciting career opportunity for a skilled Heavy Building Materials Manager to oversee the purchasing and stock management of heavy building materials, as well as handle customer inquiries and manage sales representative relations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Procure and manage heavy building materials (HBM)
  • Maintain optimal stock levels and monitor usage
  • Liaise with suppliers and vendors for competitive pricing and timely deliveries
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and manage stock discrepancies
  • Coordinate with accounts team for payment terms and invoice processing
  • Serve as primary point of contact for customers via phone and email
  • Process customer orders and ensure timely fulfillment
  • Assist in preparation of quotations and sales proposals for customers
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within the heavy building materials or construction industry
  • Strong understanding of inventory management and stock control
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with customers, sales representatives, and internal teams
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience working in the building materials or construction supply industry
