BIM Manager Job Overview

As a key member of our project delivery team, we are seeking an experienced BIM Manager to join our Life Science team in Dublin. The successful candidate will oversee the implementation of our Digital Project Delivery (DPD) strategy across projects within the Business Unit.

This is a full-time, permanent position based in the Dublin area with a site-based role as part of our project delivery team.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting the pre-construction team by reviewing tender documents to identify client BIM and digital requirements.
  • Providing technical review of 3D BIM models for federation, engineering checks, clash detection, logistics, and cost management.
  • Supporting the production and delivery of project BEP, MIDP, MPDT and ensuring internal project teams and external parties are aware of their responsibilities.
  • Leading the DPD kick-off meeting with the project management team to review and finalise the DPD strategy.
  • Mentoring BIM Engineers as needed.
  • Applying BIM Level 2 requirements on multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Maintaining excellent written and verbal communication and proficiency with MS Office.
  • Utilising Autodesk Revit, Viewpoints for Projects / Dalux, Synchro Pro, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Lumion and other rendering software packages.
Qualifications
  • A third-level qualification in construction, computing or a related discipline.
  • BIM Documentation experience is crucial for this role.
