Join us in this exciting opportunity as a Process Optimisation Engineer, where you will be responsible for leading multiple engineering projects through project management offices.

This role requires strong understanding of process optimisation best practices, test strategy, and operational integration.

  • Lead the management of significant engineering projects through project management offices.
  • Provide technical leadership from an engineering perspective.
  • Continuously improve the performance of the process.
  • Support process development and advanced operations on technology development and application within manufacturing processes.
  • Implement lean manufacture within manufacturing.
  • Interface with materials science, design, and quality assurance departments to provide customers with high-quality products in a timely manner.
  • Validate equipment and materials.
  • Communicate and participate in system and process troubleshooting with support team members and external agents.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure system integration is considered on all systems.
  • Collaborate with other engineers, QA, and ops to embed testing into development and validation.
  • Analyse issues that arise, identify root causes of failures, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Complete FMEA's, review and support the development of FDS, SDS, equipment manuals etc.
  • Implement procedures for new processes.
  • Participate in requirements and design reviews to provide input from a testability and automation perspective.
  • Follow required company quality and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
  • Level 8 degree in mechanical engineering or relevant discipline or equivalent technical experience required.
  • Proven project management skills through delivery of business critical projects.
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills with both internal and external agents.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplined team in an aggressive, dynamic, and results-motivated environment.
  • Demonstrable strong analytical and problem-solving skills, process improvement orientation, and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent presentation and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a flexible and autonomous manner.
  • A team player with a flexible approach.
  • Confident and effective decision-maker with proven technical leadership ability to negotiate and influence others.
