Job Title: German Language Specialist

A dynamic opportunity exists for a skilled German Language Specialist to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality German content that meets the highest standards of authenticity and player-friendliness.

This role is ideal for individuals with native-level German and business-level English proficiency. You will possess strong creative writing and localisation adaptation skills, as well as experience in post-editing and reviewing machine translation output.

We are seeking a motivated and solution-driven individual who can diagnose bottlenecks, flag blockers, and work collaboratively with the team to raise standards and improve processes. Your expertise in terminology, style, and cultural adaptation will be invaluable in ensuring consistency and accuracy across all German content.

You will play a vital role in shaping the future of our localisation processes by embracing and driving the transformation towards AI-powered localisation. Your proactive approach to problem-solving, willingness to learn, and adaptability will enable you to make a significant impact on our team's success.

Responsibilities:
  • Localise Call of Duty content from English to German using traditional translation and post-editing workflows.
  • Take an active role in the rollout and improvement of AI-powered automated localisation pipelines.
  • Review and approve assets before publication.
  • Collaborate with Project Management, QA, and other Language Specialists to ensure clarity of expectations and alignment on quality.
Requirements:
  • Native-level German and business-level English proficiency.
  • Strong creative writing and localisation adaptation skills.
  • Experience in post-editing and reviewing machine translation output.
  • Familiarity with CAT tools such as memoQ.
