Job Description:

Are you a driven individual with a passion for process improvement? We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our team in delivering innovative solutions across the power and renewable energy sector.

This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and enhance business processes, procedures, tools, and systems. You will play a critical role in driving operational excellence by employing analytics to guide decision-making and leading initiatives across people, processes, and technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage processes and procedures across the power and renewable energy business including governance, documentation, workflows, and maximising the capabilities and benefits of supporting technology systems
  • Employ structured problem-solving techniques, business analysis, analytics, and lean process improvement to drive performance
  • Engage directly with business and project leads to develop processes, procedures, and training content to drive business outcomes
  • Analyse and define business requirements through stakeholder engagement and the review of existing processes and procedures
  • Delivery of improvement initiatives across the end-to-end project lifecycle, from identification to business case development, project execution, and close-out
  • Collaborating with IT teams to align business needs with technical capabilities
  • Provide communications, training, and support to users on business changes to ensure effective utilisation and adoption

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 7 – 10 years' experience in industry or with a consulting firm, ideally within the power, energy, or utilities sector
  • Strong academic record including a relevant third-level degree in engineering
  • Strong numeric analysis, technical writing, presentation, process mapping, and requirement gathering skills
  • Experience in business and process analysis techniques
  • Project and programme delivery experience including in applying Agile or Waterfall methodologies
  • Lean six sigma qualification is an advantage
  • Project management qualification is an advantage
