Product Development Lead

This is a challenging and fulfilling role that requires a strong passion for product development and leadership. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of driving growth in the business, with excellent knowledge of market trends and regulatory rules.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead the day-to-day product management process and help drive on product MI, insight, and tracking.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new products and ensure they meet customer needs.
  • Be responsible for delivering system readiness for any product changes required.
  • Manage Product Design and Delivery.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure products are innovative and meet customer needs.
  • Implement and refine processes to deliver product launches in a timely manner, including testing.
  • Support the management and resolution of customer and distributor issues that arise due to external and regulatory changes or internal decisions.
  • Deliver effective communications to support this with all necessary stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other functions to ensure product training materials and communication of product changes are appropriate.
  • Ensure that products and literature are up-to-date with legislative and corporate changes or any changes required by the business.

Knowledge Expertise:

  • Be a subject matter expert on product benefits, competitor analysis, legislation, rules, policy terms, and conditions.
  • Quality, Controls, Governance, and Reporting.
  • Ensure familiarity with risk management programmes, how they impact on own area, and follow appropriate risk management procedures to control, monitor, and report on business activities.
  • Ensure compliance with professional and legal requirements.
  • Manage the product portfolio to ensure it meets strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with Proposition team to understand customer needs and input into continual benefit refreshes.
