Financial Operations Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Professional to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day financial operations, providing support with invoicing, managing supplier payments, customer billing, and reconciliations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of QuickBooks or other accounting platforms, as well as experience with RCT, VAT, and Irish tax legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Processing invoices and managing supplier payments;">
  • Managing customer billing and reconciliations;">
  • Preparing and filing VAT returns in a timely and accurate manner;">
  • Setting up contracts and managing payment structures for sub-contractors in compliance with Irish tax law;">
  • Supporting monthly payroll processing using payroll software;">
  • Daily use of QuickBooks for recording transactions, reconciling bank accounts, and generating financial reports;">
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts, P&L reports, and cash flow statements for review by external Accountant;">
  • Supporting year-end audits by preparing required documentation and liaising with external auditors;">
  • Ensuring accurate coding and posting of transactions.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar accounting or finance role, ideally within an SME environment;">
  • Qualified ACA/ACCA/CPA or Part-Qualified working through exams;">
  • Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks or other accounting platforms;">
  • Familiarity with RCT, VAT, and Irish tax legislation;">
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general IT systems;">
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and ability to work independently;">
  • A proactive, flexible approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.">
