Lead Nursing Care Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lead Nursing Care Professional to oversee the delivery of exceptional nursing and social care in our residential facility. This role requires a strong clinical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to motivate and develop a team.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing medication administration, conducting audits, and implementing action plans to maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards. They will also be responsible for leading and mentoring staff, providing ongoing training and development opportunities, and ensuring that the highest standards of care are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the delivery of exceptional nursing and social care tailored to meet the individual needs of each resident.
  • Oversee clinical standards, conduct thorough assessments, and manage care plans to maintain high-quality outcomes.
  • Supervise medication administration, conduct audits, and liaise with healthcare professionals to ensure compliance with best practices and improve medication management standards.
  • Lead and mentor staff, providing ongoing training and development opportunities.
  • Perform regular clinical, environmental, and medication audits, developing and implementing action plans to maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with active registration on the relevant professional body.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a senior nursing role.
  • Proven track record in managing medication administration, conducting audits, and implementing action plans.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
