Senior Revenue Accountant Role Summary

The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing accurate and timely financial information for the organization, ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and relevant legal and regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include preparing quarterly and annual financial statements, analyzing revenue contracts, and accounting for revenue in accordance with IFRS guidelines.

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, with certification in professional accounting (CPA) or equivalent\
  • Experience working in a public company, with knowledge of TSX stock exchange requirements and regulations\
  • Equity accounting expertise, including employee and director stock compensation plans\
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to meet deadlines and priorities\
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to identify and address complex financial issues\
  • Familiarity with internal controls and auditing processes, with ability to develop and maintain effective control procedures\
  • Knowledge of financial analysis and reporting tools, with ability to create reports and presentations\

  • Familiarity with business intelligence and data analytics, with ability to extract insights and recommendations\
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with ability to present complex financial information to senior management and external stakeholders\

  • Experience working in a cloud-based ERP system, with knowledge of financial planning and analysis (FP&A) best practices\
