BIM Technician Job Summary

Our engineering and manufacturing client seeks a skilled BIM Technician to join their expanding design team. This permanent role offers strong career prospects and excellent opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain and refine BIM models and technical drawings for engineering projects using industry-standard software.
  • Collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure accurate design and consistent execution.
  • Produce detailed construction and fabrication drawings in compliance with industry standards.
  • Support the implementation of digital workflows, drawing control and project documentation processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Background in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services or Design Engineering required.
  • Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; experience with 3D design tools like SolidWorks advantageous.
  • Previous experience as a BIM Technician or in a Design role within engineering, construction or manufacturing desired.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail, organisational skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Eager to progress career in modern design and manufacturing environment.
