Financial Systems Specialist

The organization seeks a Financial Systems Specialist to play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and functionality of financial systems across the wider finance function.

This specialist will be responsible for:

">
  • ">
  • Serving as the finance lead for system enhancements, upgrades, and integration initiatives.">
  • Optimizing financial systems (including SAP BYD and Concur) to strengthen integrations, enable system improvements, and enhance reporting across Financial Control and FP&A teams.">
  • Partnering with IT and other departments to ensure systems align effectively with business processes and requirements.">
  • Delivering training and support to finance and non-finance teams on system capabilities and best practices.">
  • Developing and maintaining automated financial reports and dashboards to support informed management decision-making.">
  • Supporting month-end and year-end close activities by ensuring accuracy and completeness of system-generated financial data.">
  • Assisting with financial reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting as needed.">
  • Documenting finance system processes and controls to promote compliance and standardisation.">
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and driving efficiency through automation and the adoption of best practices.">
  • Contributing to finance and cross-functional projects throughout the year.">

Qualifications include:

">
  • ">
  • 3-4 years as a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).">
  • Proven experience working in a similar role for at least 2-3 years supporting and driving on financial system implementations.">
  • Demonstrated experience in financial accounting roles with substantial systems involvement.">
  • Practical experience implementing ERP systems; experience with SAP, SAP BYD, or SAP SAC is an advantage.">
  • Proven track record of driving finance system enhancements and supporting day-to-day financial operations.">
  • Solid understanding of accounting standards and financial reporting requirements.">
