Membership Officer Role

We are seeking an experienced Membership Officer to join our team.

About the role:

  • Maintain strong working relationships across the organisation and act as a key first point of contact for Members engaging with us.
  • Maintain membership database and Members' online directory.
  • Ensure booking systems are updated with information on Members.
  • Process and approve membership applications subject to approval from Programme Producer/CEO.
  • Secure membership renewals, set up and initiate new Members into the community.
  • Evaluate Member Offer based on feedback from the sector and the identified needs of dance community in line with our mission and strategy.
  • Represent us at national and international events as required.
  • Coordinate Artist Support and 1:1 Sessions, hosting these sessions as well as co-ordinating them for the rest of the team.
  • Coordinate Open Call for Dance Ireland Residencies scheduling and liaison with artists for their week-long residencies.
  • New Movements public programme scheduling studio sharings for artists within our programme and hosting the events.
  • Co-ordinate the scheduling and database of Members' Studio bookings. Monitor and track bookings liaising with Venue Officers.
  • Track Membership data and engagement for reporting to Programme Producer and CEO.
  • Coordinate Annual General Meeting and associated Membership communications.
  • Prepare reports as required for the Board.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Acting as the key point of contact for the Members of our organisation.
  2. Maintaining membership database and Members' online directory.
  3. Ensuring booking systems are updated with information on Members.
  4. Processing and approving membership applications subject to approval from Programme Producer/CEO.
  5. Seker membership renewals setting up and initiating new Members into the community.
  6. Evaluating Member Offer based on feedback from the sector and the identified needs of dance community in line with our mission and strategy.
  7. Representing us at national and international events as required.

  • Contract duration - 7 months.
  • Probation period - six weeks.
  • Holiday entitlement.
  • Toil is in operation.

Others:

  • This position is offered as a part-time role with at least two days a week based at our centre.
  • No overtime is paid.
