Job Title: Membership Officer

This role is a part-time opportunity to work with a highly organised and skilled team in delivering professional activities and member services.

  • You have excellent administration skills to ensure the smooth running of our programme and events.
  • You have empathy and understanding of the needs of professional and pre-professional artists and organisations who look to us for representation and support.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Maintain strong working relationships across the organisation, acting as a key first point of contact for Members engaging with us.
  2. Maintain membership database and Members' online directory.
  3. Ensure Artifax and Mindbody booking systems are updated with information on Members.
  4. Process and approve membership applications - subject to approval from Programme Producer/CEO.
  5. Secure membership renewals; set up and initiate new Members into the community.
  6. Evaluate Member Offer based on feedback from the sector and the identified needs of dance community, in line with our mission and strategy.
  7. Represent us at national and international events, as required.
  8. Coordinate Artist Support and 1:1 Sessions: host these sessions as well as coordinate them for the rest of the team.
  9. Coordinate the Open Call for Dance Ireland Residencies - schedule and liaise with artists for their week-long residencies. Issue contracts and confirm all aspects of bookings.
  10. New Movements public programme - schedule studio sharings for artists within our programme and host the events.
  11. Coordinate the scheduling and database of Members' Studio bookings. Monitor and track bookings – liaise with Venue Officers.
  12. Track Membership data and engagement for reporting to Programme Producer and CEO.
  13. Coordinate the Annual General Meeting and associated Membership communications.
  14. Prepare reports as required for the Board.
  15. Monitor and update the membership budget.
  16. Offer additional support to the Venue Team, including reception duties to cover breaks and holidays where required.
  17. Monitor and capture attendance data - Members Studio, Artist Advisories, New Movements.
