The project manager duties include:

  • Keeping stakeholders informed of progress, cost and any other relevant issues.">
  • Overseeing the tender and contractor/consultant appointment process.">
  • Chairing and minuting project review meetings.">
  • Maintaining buildings, services and equipment in accordance with approved maintenance programmes.">
  • E nsuring smooth information flow between all parties to the contract.">
  • Predicting potential bottlenecks and delays and taking action to remedy them.">
  • Agreeing valuations and final accounts for contractors and consultants.">
  • Monitoring build and material quality.">
  • Ensuring contractual compliance.">
  • Assisting in front-end design planning and procurement of projects within our portfolio.">

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Level 8 Degree in Engineering or Construction related field.">
  • A minimum of 5 years engineering experience with a contractor or consulting engineers.">
  • Knowledge of current construction contracts and procurement methodologies.">
  • A proven track record of seeing projects through to their successful completion.">
  • A valid driving licence and vehicle.">
