Advanced Nurse Practitioner Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role for an experienced nurse to work as a Candidate Advanced Nurse Practitioner (CANP) or Registered Advanced Nurse Practitioner (RANP) in our neurology department. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert nursing care to patients with neurological conditions, including motor neurone disease. This involves working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that promote safe, timely, and evidenced-based nurse-led care.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, advanced practice experience, and excellent communication and leadership skills. They will also possess a commitment to lifelong learning and professional development, as well as a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert nursing care to patients with neurological conditions
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Conduct comprehensive holistic health assessments using evidenced-based frameworks, policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines
- Demonstrate clinical leadership in the design and evaluation of services
- Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives to advance nursing practice and patient outcomes
